Rotated image resources

I need help,

being a “beginner” Elements site builder, I am trying to rebuild a RW8 site in Elements with a new design. I imported the resources from my RW8 project and have been rebuilding newly styled pages. BTW Much easier! (mostly  )

I have run into two issues with images:

  1. Some of the images are rotated 90 degrees. I read that this is due to iPhone meta? (whatever) I have opened some of these images in preview from my old project RW8 folder, rotated them 360 degrees and saved them back, then move them to the resource folder and they are oriented correctly. Is there a way to access the resources directly to do this? (I know images can be rotated in the “transforms”.
  2. The second issue is compounded by the first. I have numerous duplicate images in the project resource folders. Can these duplicates be removed from the project “package contents” without messing up the project? Looking at the resources folder in “package Contents” I see what appears to be even more duplicate photos for each page.

I’m trying to get ahead of this before it becomes unmanageable.

Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Unfortunately, no.

I wouldn’t mess with the Project package file. I would just delete them from the Project Resources.

General Comment not criticism - I’m old and have bad eyesight!

You have a rounded border on a few of the sections and when you look on phone view the text which is white is very hard to read as it comes off blue background - off the side of the curve.

For consistency your text pops on first section but not on others for consistency I would have one or the other. Also one of the lines if you stay like this needs a bit of padding as it goes right to end of screen.

These are just my opinions but site looks good in general so well done!

Thanks for the input !
