Ok, as ist seems no one knows or is interested in this I did check what I changed.
I put in a %base_url% in the links for warehoused pictures and this seems to break the internal server.
Actually as I build sites for clients and have to show them under another web adress first and then publishing to the “real” address the “base_url” hack would make my life much easier and save a lot of time …
Seems like RW is not compatible with that.
@dang
Okay, now on RW 9.3.4 and Sequoia 15.1.
Still the annoying “Could not start the internal web server”.
Am I the only one where it is occuring?
Is there a cure coming for that?
Would help so much working on clients sites …
Hey @capetom,
I haven’t seen any reports of this coming in from anybody else.
Maybe try @Heroic_Nonsense’s suggestion in this post Permission denied. Couldn't start the internal web server on 127.0.01:21 - #2 by Heroic_Nonsense and see if it fixes your issue.
Also make sure the “Web Server Port” field is empty on that same page. Let RapidWeaver auto-select the port for you.
Let us know how you get on.
