RW refuses to save new blog post

This morning, RW produced this message when I tried to save (before publishing) my latest blog post: The document “Pure Schmaltz Blog~ (original)” could not be saved.

MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2010), 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3, El Capitan V10.11.6

RW Version 8.1.7 (20674)

This latest blog post also refuses to accept a .jpg graphic when I try to slip it over from a finder window.
