If you’re planning to switch to Elements, your best option might be to pause your Classic subscription and purchase the Elements plan that best suits your needs.
The current version of Classic that you’re using will continue to work, so you’ll still be able to update and maintain your existing site while you take the time to rebuild it in Elements.
All current Elements plans are listed here: Elements Website Builder for Mac
The most popular option is the Plus plan.
Note: If you purchase before June 1st, you can lock in the current pricing. More details on that can be found in our pricing update post.
We’re planning on creating a marketplace that will offer third-party add-ons — including components, themes, and project files. We hope to have this available in the not-too-distant future.
If you’re referring to creating additional custom components yourself, you’d need to upgrade to a plan that offers more flexibility for custom/global components.
Currently, there isn’t a way to purchase individual limit increases — but that’s something we’re open to exploring if enough users would benefit from it.
