I am building a single page site with multiple sections, some of which are nested. How do I create a navigation menu using links which behaves in the same way as the normal menu for multiple pages including drop-down for the nested sections?

This may help, but it’s just a trick, a improper use of Dropdown 
, using it as a submenu. There are also Z-index issues, but if you avoid overlaps (and keep the boxes on the right), it works.
..I haven’t tried nesting submenus but you can try
