I have 2 sites one will not upload to elements cloud. its 600m so I erased the one that will load so I know is within the limit but just wont work with elements cloud.
everything published ok tho
Hi David,
Don’t know whether this is the issue but “Every Elements Cloud account comes with 1GB of free cloud storage”. If you meant 600Mb, would that have pushed it over the 1GB limit?
no thats why I rubbed off other site…this is the only site im trying now
So what’s your usage show on Elements Cloud?
Hi @Godber, I’ve checked our systems here and can confirm that your cloud usage is indeed zero so I don’t think that’s the issue. I’ve never tried uploading a document that large before. At which point does the upload fail?
near the end and there is something in brackets and I cant see it all bit it start with the word amplify
There have been a couple of threads related to amplify they all seemed to be Wi-Fi/netwrok issues, both of mine happened when I was on a public network
im at home using ethernet straight into router not even on wifi
not that then, at least one cause eliminated
Amplify is the AWS framework we use under the hood for authentication, file uploads etc. It sounds like the file might be uploading, but then an error occurs when it’s processing. I’ll have a dig around and see what I can find.
@Godber Are you uploading a document called “DJMPrints Latest”, if so it uploaded fine and looks like an issue in our backend service.
yes that is it…so it is there I just cant see it or do anything with it
Great news, I’ve found and fixed the issue! ![]()
Turns out the problem was a timeout caused by the size of the file. Apparently, copying a large file takes more than 5 seconds… who knew? ![]()
Give it another go now, it should work like a charm this time!
Bingo hahahaha
thanks
