I see a carousel for arbitrary content is on the Elements road map, and I have a request to include one in my current (only) project.
Asking about timetables always sounds demanding. I don’t want to do that - but I am curious.
Any speculation when an Elements carousel will be available?
I found a couple of for-fee carousels. One was $150 for a single site, which seemed a little high.
Any suggestions?
I’m starting to do pretty well with Elements, I think, for someone with no functional aesthetic taste. Today’s revelation was how easy it is to flip everything in a site based on screen width. A charming display of knitted unicorn socks on a smartphone can morph into pure death metal on a wider screen.
No need for that kind of extreme, but it’s really cool to be able to do such things. I used a 2x2 grid on narrow screens and a 4x1 grid on wider screens, displayed 6 images on a slider with no autoplay on wide screens and four images with autoplay on smaller devices.
Very cool.
Anyway, any suggestions for a third party carousel? Otherwise, I’m pretty content waiting for Elements. All the components seem well-debugged.
