There is probably a good reason why these lines are not lined up, but I can feel my OCD triggering when looking at this

I have set up my Elements the same as you but don’t see the issue. What I do see is that you appear to have a much deeper row where the title of the project sits. Have you got something running on to two lines further off screen? This may have pushed the line down?
I’m guess that’s because you’re using Tabs… they line up on standard documents, but as soon as you add another document (in a tab), macOS shifts things around to make room.
Over time, we’ll tweak the design more especially that Tahoe is now released…

I did not even notice that tabs was enabled. I have turned it off, and can now sleep at night again ;-D Thank you @dan !
