Social tags is greyed out in Meta tags in RW 9.5.0, which means no preview if I post a link on Facebook. How can I turn it on?
This is just one of MANY problems I´ve encountered after updating to RW9.
That´s the problem. The Generate Social Tags is greyed out. The other 3 are ticked.

If that’s not checked then the Social Tags section will be greyed out on your pages.

Thanks! So it has to be done in two places in the program? Why is that? And why is this important feature disabled in the default settings? I tried searching for information in the online user manual, but couldn’t find anything. By the way, the manual should be available as a large, searchable PDF.

This isn’t disabled by default. Users only need to switch it off if they use third party plugins to generate social tags (like SEO Helper). If you start a new project, you’ll find it checked on.
It’s available in two places as different use cases exist. You might want to switch it off for the entire site (if you use a third party solution) or just for some pages (that you don’t want to be shared, like dynamic pages) in your project.
