This is such a basic question, I’m embarrassed to ask. I hope this isn’t confusing.
In elements, for menu purposes, I am creating sub pages. But I would like the folders of the sub pages to be at root level. This would then match the structure of my current RW website.
Elements appears to be “forcing” my subpages to locate inside the folder of the parent. Whilst this isn’t the end of the world, it will require me to set up redirects for many of the pages in my new Elements website.
There’s also a good chance that 404 errors will become a “thing” if I make a mistake. Can we make custom 404 error pages as we did in Rapidweaver?
Really sorry if this is a basic question. I have searched this forum and the Elements manual but I can’t find an answer.
Thank you searching and for that link. I’ve bookmarked it and will use that to create a 404 Error page down the line. I’m still struggling with folder structure though. I’m sure a solution will present itself.
Maybe @dan could chip in on this one. In summary, do we have full control of the folder location for each page we create, regardless of its position on the Pages Panel?
