@barchard hi Greg. Have you seen anything in this? Odd the only complaints so far are CMS and not static content. The way the CMS builds I thought is was static, maybe just a one off or a single server issue? Just ideas.
It’s like if the PHP backend or runtime had to be loaded into memory and start its things before executing the PHP code. ![]()
Sorry I didn’t see this until now. Can you please open a support ticket with us and I’d be happy to take a look
Thanks
Sorry just seeing this now. Thanks for tagging me! I’d have to dive in deeper to take a look. If you’re having issues always tag me or, better, would be a ticket in the billing area.
Thanks
Greg
Thanks for helping JF Martin! Chillidog Hosting rocks!
The CMS uses PHP to dynamically render content, it’s not generating “static content”.
This is what it feels like to me, something needs to be kick started on the server, and once it has been woken up it loads really fast.
A support ticket was opened on Chillidog. After pointing out an analytics script inducing 2sec delay, I removed the call as requested. Same delays were experienced. The guy at Chillidog told me he saw errors generated with PHP, and were submitted to RealMac Software. cc @ben
