Squash 4 Beta 3 Now Available

Logo in the top right and text in the bottom right corner.

Ah okay, yes those are some good examples. I’ll have a think and see how we can elegantly support this.

Keep the feedback coming

Update wasn’t showing up for me either even after I cleared the cache in terminal. The direct download @dan provided did the trick.

Being able to use a custom watermark text instead of a static logo image is a must. I use photos in many facebook groups and on fb-pages plus instagram. I don’t want to make different logo images for each one. @dan And of course on several websites.

@handshaper @PLM, I’m not sure about adding in full text support, as it can be replicated by using images. On a more positive note, we’ve added support for multiple watermarks, this will be in the next build!

It takes much longer time to make an image in another app. It is so easy just to add a custom text watermark. I have no need to put a company logo on my photos. I will stick to squash 3. @dan

@dan I don’t understand. You had support for that feature previously in the last BETA.

What was the reason for removing it?

If I have to put text into my images, then I might as well just use a dedicated graphics program. I like to leave my source image unmarked and then only handle it when I’m moving it to one of my websites.

I can see where with multiple watermarks, I could handle the text with an image, but the workflow is much more cumbersome because I would first have to create the image separately.
