Will the hosting service provide SSL certificates, and will they be free?
Yes and yes! 
Elements Hosting will automatically provision free Let’s Encrypt SSL certificates once it detects your domain has been pointed to our server. This happens in the background, customers won’t have to do anything on their end. These SSL certificates will also automatically renew, so you won’t have to manage that either.
If your domain is not yet pointed to our server, the system will still generate a self-signed SSL certificate that you can use for testing, however please note that self-signed SSL certificates will generate browser warnings, so they are only good for testing really. Once your domain has been pointed to our server, the system will auto-generate the Let’s Encrypt SSL which will replace the self-singed SSL.
Finally, if you have purchased your own Custom SSL certificate, like an Extended Validation (EV) certificate, you can easily install those directly from the Elements Hosting Reactor Panel (what we are calling our Control Panel).
