I’m just diving in and looking to add a store to my site.
Apart from the Ecwid plugin, are there any other options you can recommend? - There used to be a few but they appear to have dropped out of sight.

There’s a few options on the RapidWeaver Marketplace, just look under the eCommerce tag.
You could also look at Vibracart, they have a manual/help that covers integrating it with RapidWeaver.
