Stuck on Export (Generating checksums)

Just updated to latest RapidWeaver 7.5.6 and I can no longer export (or publish) my website.
Not sure if am supposed to ask this in Forum, as did not see any support e-mail.

When I do Publish (or export to a directory) the app does all it could then gets stuck on:
“Generating checksums”
Will sit there forever, and if I hit “Cancel” when I try to export again it says:
Export in Progress: An export is already in progress. Please wait until it is complete.

I also tried the RapidWeaver 8 trial, and the same exact thing happens. (As I plan to upgrade as I do each year, but want to fix this first).

Tried moving folder to another directory on the HD as well.

Is there a log somewhere that RapidWeaver creates?

Thanks.

What is your macOS version?

10.13.6

Here’s RealMac’s article on fixing publishing problems. Maybe it will help you?

Sometimes quitting RW or restarting your Mac helps. If you have to force-quit, re-launch RW, quit it in a normal way and re-launch again—before you try publishing again.

Are you able to publish to a local folder? Can you publish individual pages with single page publish?

At the bottom of the support page there’s a section Contact Realmac Software you can send an email.
That being said, this forum can usually get you an answer for most questions.

Have you tried with another project?

I tried many times, restarted my machine as well. Even ended up buying RW8 just in case.

I can not export the site (get the same issue). I can publish individual pages fine thou. Something at the end messes up.

When you look at the upload log all you get is this:

2018-10-07 00:37:07.755 RapidWeaver 8[74646:1737798] ==============================================================
2018-10-07 00:37:07.755 RapidWeaver 8[74646:1737798] NEW LAUNCH (2018-10-07 04:37:07 +0000)

Yes, I tried in other projects and they work fine. For some reason just one project is failing (which used to work).

The only thing the support log (on upload says) is:
2018-10-07 00:37:07.755 RapidWeaver 8[74646:1737798] ==============================================================
2018-10-07 00:37:07.755 RapidWeaver 8[74646:1737798] NEW LAUNCH (2018-10-07 04:37:07 +0000)

Not sure what file it has an issue with.

Thanks for the link, did not find that before. I posted more information in the forum, I guess if no solution in the next few days will contact support.

How many pages is your site? Can you try each page one at a time until one fails? (single page publishing) - If you are designed right and have sub-pages to your main nav pages single page publish does allow for publishing a page and all it’s child pages (sub-pages). Do what you can to find the single offending page.
