Stupid Question - replacing an image

Is there an easy way to replace an image? I’m using the same image 365 times in my site… I wanted to change it.

I’ve been deleting the existing image which takes it out of position in elements and leaves the question mark.

Then load the new image and spend the next couple of hours clicking away - replacing all 365 images…

Must be an easier way…

Thank you for taking time to do the screen movie…

I don’t think global would work in this case..

The picture is inside the audio player - the cover is staying the same - but the song title and song file are changing for each instance

I wish there was a simple replace image file - in resources… then it would populate through the site…

Hi Michael
This isn’t smart advice, but it’s practical and should be done on a copy of the project to avoid problems.

From the finder , open the project package.

Navigate to the package and open the image you want to replace with an image editor and change the content (I did this and it works), save, and then open the project. The image will be updated with your changes.

I repeat, it’s a barbaric method! But now as long as you have no alternatives it works

use an image for artwork in say a flex with the audio component, kind of hack

Both good ideas!!!

Didn’t think about going to the server and replacing the image - very clever (I think that’s what you mean)
Or right click an go into the package!!! I get it!!!)

Also making a hybrid audio component is a really good idea also

Thank you…

I replaced the image content with an editor to avoid problems but probably replacing the file (with the same name) also works
