Submenu expand on hover problem

I have a site in build using Elements 1.4.4

When hovering over a top level menu item in desktop mode, it expands to reveal the two sub menus which is helpful.

However hovering downwards auto expands the first sub menu, showing the 5 pages under that submenu (Voice), which is unhelpful when you want to navigate to a page under the second submenu (Data).

Unfortunately as you move the cursor further down past the last of the 5 pages in the first submenu, it closes the menu completely, preventing expanding the second submenu (Data) and the ability to select a page under that submenu.

Is this a bug? The behaviour does not occur in mobile menu which requires all levels of menu to have a click in order to expand the menu below. This is my preferred action for the desktop menu.

p.s. If the submenu contains 4 or less pages, the problem does not occur.

It’s looking like support for Elements is non existent.

I’ll have to be content with constant feature updates and marketing messages.

When designing a navigation menu, there may be combinations that weren’t tested during development. In your case, the problem lies in the last menu.

Currently, the smartest solution is to move it to the top and wait for the component to be updated.
The RMS team is very responsive, but they’re currently under a huge workload; just be patient.

So sorry we missed this one, the forum has been super busy with lots of new users and the launch of the store.

Anyway… can you share your project via Elements Cloud and we’ll take a look for you

I changed the menu structure to work around the problem. But you can easily recreate it if you follow my original post.

thanks for the reply.
