Got a spare Mac you can try on? Or maybe a friendâs Mac you can try on?
Youâve got a ton of stuff in your menubar, so Iâd wager youâve got a program or software thatâs causing the issue.
Elements worked before with the apps in the menu, and I have not installed any new utillities apps.
Understood, however software can update and processes can run in those software that might affect something later on down the line.
Based on the error you posted something on your Mac is interfering with the normal operation of the localhost URL. You look to have a lot of utility software/apps in your menubar, which is why I think one of those might be interfering.
Another thing to check is if you are running Docker or any other container software on your Mac (or if you ever did in the past and removed them), which can interfere with the localhost URL.
Iâd still recommend, if possible, checking on a spare Mac, or a friends Mac, from the same network to see if itâs working on another machine. That would help narrow it down.
Hi Daniel! I updated Sequoia to latest version and now Elements works. Thanks for your support.
Cheers!

Glad to hear youâre back up and running ![]()
Sequoia 15.7.3 is the latest version. Did I miss something? ![]()
Happy to hear itâs working now though.
Ah ok, you installed the release candidate. Donât think that version has officially dropped yet (not seeing any public announcements on it, last I see is itâs in release candidate version 3). Hope the official version drops soon!
Good to hear that new macOS version fixes whatever the problem was though. ![]()
