Unfortunately, there are errors in the display of SVGs. Initially, no colors are displayed. This only happens when the Style option is switched off. The capital letter I is only displayed if the Size option is switched off. The lowercase letter i is always displayed. Sometimes, however, the color is not displayed at all.
I have made a few videos. How can I upload them? m4v or zip are not allowed here.
here is a demo project with SVG and videos only.

Please note that in the second video the red drop is never displayed in red. The videos are also distorted.
As your SVG uses lines, fills, and gradients, Elements will not be able to colour it. If you need to change the look of the SVG, you should do it in a graphics program before using inside of yoru website.
Thanks for the quick reply. From my point of view, the options for Remove Attributes should be switched off by default. Otherwise, many users will be surprised at the incorrect display.
Unfortunately, you did not provide any information about the missing capital letters I. After trying around a bit, I can say that all rectangles in SVGs disappear when the Remove Attributes Size is switched on. This is certainly still a bug.
Unfortunately, SVGs can be constructed in many different ways; they are mathematically complex XML text files. The remove attribute options are provided as a helper, but is not guaranteed to work. It will, however, work with most icon sets (at least based on our testing).
Complex graphics designed in a vector programme are very hit and miss, which is why we offer the ability to turn off these options. When you disable the attribute options, your SVG will remain untouched and will appear the same in most web design apps/browsers.
I’d suggest fixing your SVGs in a graphics program or text editor before importing them into Elements. Failing that you could convert them to PNG’s, this format is much easier to work with.
You are of course right when it comes to complex SVGs. I have created a few very simple SVG’s (circle, rectangle and triangle) with a text editor and inserted them into an Elements page. The remove attributes work perfectly. Only the rectangle disappears when the size property is turned to remove attributes.

I would like to suggest to change the default settings for SVG’s. All remove attributes should be switched off by default and for sizing width I think auto makes more sense than the current value of 20.
