Hi all, I am running the current version of RW Classic here along with Stacks. I am rebuilding a website for a friend of mine who has a small business around a hobby we are both in. In doing so, I am needing to format text in a table way on some of the pages. I am looking for what stacks options are out there to help with this. Below is an example of what I am needing to do.
In searching the forum, I have ran across Iron Grid 3 which looks nice but it seems to be too much for this simple application. It is wanting to base on a google sheet or the like that can be edited and therefore edit the table on the site without republishing the page.
I also ran across Power Grid which could work. The way you put data into it is a bit cumbersome but looks like it could work alright.
I am just wondering if anyone else uses something different as my use case is pretty simple.
I don’t know about solutions to do this in Stacks, but you will be able to do this in the new beta of RapidWeaver Elements 3 that’s being released Tomorrow!
Haha thanks Dan. I know I will have to switch over one day. I have watched a few tutorial videos already. I just run a personal website and a few for a handful of clubs I am in so learning a new piece of software keeps getting put off. I know I will have to switch sooner or later though.
Sure, the biggest site I have is my personal site that is mostly for my enjoyment. https://be-traveling.net. It is trip reports of our travels for friends and family. Nothing complicated at all and I do feel Elements is a bit overpowered for it. It is the number of pages to move over that will be the trick.
I have a few other smaller sites like this https://sanjacmodeltrains.org that once the page itself is figured out in elements, the movement of the data over would be pretty quick.
