Hi, I just started a new project using Elements. While setting up the theme studio, I noticed it has tabs (menu, view, show tab bar). However, if you add a new tab, it seems to open e new project page in the theme studio. That seems counter-intuitive. Is that a bug or a feature?
Best, Matthias
Oh thatâs a bug. You can create new tabs in the main projects window, to create new projects, but you shouldnât be able to do that in the Theme Studio
Weâll get that fixed!
@dan Oh, wait, I thought that was a feature.
I use this all the time if I have two projects open I can open the theme studio in both of them. Their settings then appear in tabs within the studio making it a lot easier to compare settings from one project to another. Or to copy settings from one to another.
No, thereâs a bug where you can open a document in the theme projects window
However if you have multiple documents open, you can still have tabs in the theme studio, this is okay
It might be a stupid question but how do you add extra tabs to the Theme Studio?
I think itâs because I have the âPrefer tabs when opening documentsâ option switched on in the System PreferencesâŚ
Alternatively you can use the âMerge all Windowsâ option, this works for both documens and theme studio windows.
That seems to work but I donât get the â+â at the end of the top one in Theme Inspector, or is that different to Theme Studio?
This is from your video;
This is from my screen;
Itâs a macOS thing, so Iâm not 100% sure on the settings⌠did you try restarting Elements?
No, but I did notice you are suing a Pro license. Is that the issue as I am on Plus?
No, itâs a macOS thing. Will dig into it later and find out what macOS setting to enable to get the + icon.
A quick google will probably give you the answer!
