When editing text in Elements the text selection ‘shortcuts’ don’t work. Normally if I want to bold or emphasize a word I ‘double click’ it to select it and then hit ⌘ + B to make the text bold. Similarly if I click a third time it selects the entire current line, a fourth time the entire current paragraph and so on. Not having these 'shortcuts available means that you always have to select the text using your mouse or trackpad and then style or manipulate it as you wish.
It would be nice if the experience of working with text in Elements was similar to that of almost every other macOS app.
