Text Sizes - I’ve noticed larger than I use

I use 2-3XL most of the time and base font otherwise..

Are you guys scaling text per screen size?

From what to what?

I figured the end user has their browser set for example: don’t show me anything below 18pt. Font

Or perhaps no?

(In old Classic websites - my text was much larger)

I think in Elements my text has - right sized… mostly…

Typography & Sizing Summary

• Overall Approach: The main strategy focuses on a mobile-first design that prioritizes accessibility by using a simple, relative typography scale instead of rigid, fixed pixel values.

• Body Content: For standard text and forum posts, the consensus is to stick to the “base font” size. This is crucial because it allows the reader’s own browser preferences to control the final display size, ensuring optimal readability for everyone.

• Titles & Headers: To establish a clear visual hierarchy, larger relative sizes like 2XL or 3XL are recommended for main headings and titles.

• Navigation: When designing for a standard 1024px width layout, maintaining a clear minimum size for menu text is essential so that navigation elements remain easy to read and click.

• Targeted Adjustments: Specific layout tweaks were also highlighted, such as significantly increasing the text size at the bottom of the page to ensure lower sections or footers remain legible and engaging.
