I have a post using the CMS to which I add a photo. The photo needs some space, so I try to add a line in the editor, and it looks good in the editor: (I have also tried to do the same using the Markdown editor.)
Then I save and on the web page, there is no space between the photo and the text:
The Gitbook assistant is of no use to help with this. How do I add a line between the text and the photo in the CMS interface? Even adding a horizontal rule does not work.
I also had a long fight understanding that filenames with spaces give the CMS interface a lot of trouble, while the Elements interface has no problems. Please make it handle filenames the same way.
Thanks for the input, Thom. I made the text+photo using the Wysiwyg editor, where it shows correctly, but apparently it does not respect the strange theme controls where text and objects are treated differently, and is not even able to add a line before a non-text-object. (<br> does not work either)
This needs a small change of code, I would say.
If the wysiwyg editor is not wysiwyg, then it is very difficult to have non-nerdy customers working with it.
