I was playing around with some text in the paragraph component and it struck me that there is currently no way to add a hyperlink to text in Elements. Links are a foundation of the web, and to not be able to add them in a modern web design app is baffling. I’m assuming they’ll come with additional (and much needed) text formatting controls?
Also, the paragraph component uses a drop-cap in its icon, but there is no way to create a drop-cap using the component. It would be a nice touch to support drop-caps in paragraphs, as well as first-line transformations/indents, etc.
Yes, the in-line text editor is far from Finished. We have plans to add a styling bar where you’ll be able to add links, etc. Just hang tight a bit longer…
I like this idea a lot, let me get it added to the list for @bon to implement
Awesome. If @bon is looking for a stretch goal with regards to drop-caps in paragraphs, being able to specify an image/svg resources to use (in an accessible manner) would be a really nice touch.
