The Need for help in setting up my Website

Hi all,

My name is Dennis Bressack, I have an older version of RapidWeaver that my website is on. It it located on an Apple MacBook Pro with an older operating system, Catalina.

I just purchased an new MacBook Air., on which I want to create an updated version of my website.

Is there a professional that can help me to transfer content and help me to build a new website on Elements?

Do you have a link to the live site? It may be the case, depending on it’s complexity, that a rebuild from scratch in elements would be simpler/

My website is built in Rapidweaver 5 or 6, not classic. I do have link to the present site, denniswaynebressack.com

Ooooo, a fair chunk of content there. As has been said above you can try the classic to elements approach, Else it will be a fair number of hours to engage a web dev to recreate it.

Getting an elements website will be very nice for you… the change in speed of delivery to the end user and polish will be dramatic…

I notice you don’t have https… most web hosting companies offer free certificates - perhaps something to look into…

I think that the website is hosted on go daddy.

Is there someone that can utilize the content, prose, pottery, music, photos and develop a new site on elements and have me able to add contents afterwards.

I would have loved to help, but there is too much content for me to dedicate the time to your project.

There are a bunch of professional designers here though, so I hope someone will take the job on for you.

Perhaps look at website templates? Then you can watch videos on how to import your content?

I have elements. Trial not not paid for yet. I haven’t had the chance to play with the APP.

What would the cost be for you to help me? Can I end up with a similar website with poems, prose, blog, music, photos, videos, shopping cart(if I want one)?

Then I would want to be able to add content myself or with guidance.
