Theme changes

My website’s home page (alexeala-prideofthephilippines.online) has a black background with white text. I have been concentrating on the website on my Mac. Today, I had a look at the website on my iPhone and iPad and it did not display properly. I turned off dark mode in Elements. What I would like to do is to change the theme for this one page. I’m not sure how to do this as I cannot locate the Theme Studio. Any assistance welcomed.

Daniel,

I don’t want to bother you again.

I tried to create a new page called Home (to replace Alex Eala because of the dark background ) but it comes up with a black background and I want while or something similar so I can have black text.

Is this due to a theme? The Alex Eala page is the one I want to change as the other pages are fine.

Here is what comes up creating a new page:

This all came about because I checked my website on my phone and tablet and it does not look correct. I turned off Dark.

Since you’re hosted with us I can just pull down your project file backup to troubleshoot.

I think the issue you are reporting is that in light mode your text is rendering white instead of black. This is because it looks like you are overriding the theme default colors with inline styles per the below:

As you can see if you highlight the text inside that text component, you are setting the color as white(ish), which is why it’s displaying white text on a white background.

If you disable that “Set Color” toggle, the text reverts to the theme default which is black.

Give that a go, republish your site, and if that doesn’t result in the expected behavior please clarify a bit more what it is that’s not right so we can look further.

Also give that Theme Studio YouTube video a watch, along with this one about light mode and dark mode. Dark Mode | RapidWeaver Elements Docs . It should help you get your project file set up correctly for both.
