Theme lost - where can I get it?

After reinstalling my Mac and switched from Classic 8 to 9, I realized that I had lost the “Exposition” theme by Brandon Lee Design. Unfortunately, I didn’t back up the download anywhere. I purchased the theme in 2022, but the download link is now dead (404). The designer’s website still exists, however the purchase options there also lead to a 404 error.

Brandon Lee unfortunately does not respond to emails. I have to assume that he is no longer active.

Where can I obtain the theme now? Do you have any ideas or possibilities? Of course, I would be willing to buy it a second time, but there seems to be no way to do so.

Thank you very much for your help.

Ah, I happen to have a copy of this theme, here you go…

Thank you! Thank you so much. You really helped me—I was almost losing hope. You made my day

You’re welcome!

You might want to consider moving to Elements, as that’s the future of RapidWeaver. Do let me know if you need any help or have any questions regarding the move

I was somewhat hesitant about Elements and wasn’t sure what to make of it. Since I was coming from Classic 8, which became unstable under Tahoe, I initially decided to go with version 9.

Can an existing website be migrated to Elements, and is this migration comparable to a standard Classic major-version upgrade (for example, 8 → 9)?

To be honest, I haven’t tried the new import function from old rapid Weaver sites…

That being said:

It’s probably easier to start a new site in elements.
Many here will help you get started and give you tips…

There’s a video Dan did about converting a rapid Weavers site into elements. It’s a half hour show in worth watching… As soon as I saw how easy it was, I made the move to elements.

Hi, no, this is not the case. You can re-use some of the resources, but in general it is better to built from scratch (and it is actually enjoyable to do so).

In case you want a 3rd party to convert your classic site into element, we do offer this as a paid service at https://classic-to-elements.com but perhaps you want to try this by yourself first.
