Almost every time I use Elements, I notice quality of life improvements over Rapidweaver Classic.
They’re the kinds of things that were points of friction in Classic that I worked around.
Elements is different; the software and its features are arranged to work around me. The deep thought and experience of Realmac in building this kind of software really shows.
The “Replace Resource” feature is the perfect example. I’m working on a very large site with lots of images. Occasionally, I’ll find a better image to replace a current one, sprinkled throughout the site. In the old days, I’d have to add the new image, hunt down all of the old image instances, and replace them. In Elements, I right click the old image, click “Replace Image,” select my new one, and it’s done.
What a nice tool!
