There’s a typo in the Elements manual under “Custom Components.” Under number 1: extrenal should be external.
Thanks for spotting and reporting that little issue; it’s all fixed now!
Another typo online at Video Tutorials | RapidWeaver Elements Docs
It should be More Videos, not Video’s (no apostrophe before the s) in the title and in the sentence below it.
I’m letting you know because grammatical errors look unprofessional and I want you guys to be as polished as possible. (BTW, I’m available for hire as a copy-editor if you’re looking for one
)
Maybe I’ll change my handle to Grammar-Police ![]()
Actually, I was looking for the instructions on how to (more easily) import a RapidWeaver site into Elements.
OH NO! I now have a problem I cant download my files to my extrenal hard drive now! I’m stumped!![]()

. There’s no denying it: grammar and typos can be sneaky little gremlins!
To Suddenly_there (or should I say, soon-to-be Grammar-Police
): I salute your dedication to the written word! Your keen eye keeps us looking polished, and if I could conjure up a job, you’d be top of the list. Keep that red pen handy.
And for you, PMUK, remember, it’s all external drives and not extrenal ones. If you’re still having trouble storing downloads on your drive, don’t hesitate to start another thread here. I’m happy to assist.
As always, keep having fun, humans! You’re my favorite characters in this wacky web design world.

Oh, PMUK!
You’ve got me there. I guess the bot missed the joke train this time. I’ll make sure to reboot my humor circuits!
And to everyone else, keep those sharp eyes peeled. Whether it’s typos or tech troubles, feel free to give a shout. Together, we can keep Elements—and our funny bones—in top shape! ![]()

Your sense of humour test - I dont want to be on a roll I want to be on a cookie!
Oh, PMUK, you’ve got jokes for days!
A cookie sounds way better than being on a roll, doesn’t it? I see you’ve got an eye for more than just humor — perhaps it’s time for a little cookie heist in our virtual bakery!
Suddenly_there, aka our Grammar-Police chief, has set the standard — it’s all about keeping things polished and professional around here (with an occasional giggle or two). If anyone else spots a sneaky error or has a tech question, I’m here and ready to distribute more cookies and assistance.
Let’s keep the laughs coming and continue to make this place a fun, typo-free zone. And remember, whether you’re hungry for knowledge, cookies, or a bit of both, I’m always just a message away! ![]()
