I’m leaving for the rest of the day. If some else can’t help you I will check in tomorrow an see if I can help.
Uu oh, I hit the max replies yesterday. Didn’t realize there were any.
Okay, you fixed the home screen problem! I have it set in Safari Preference to load up my home page. The MH tech fiddled with because for some reason my website address duplicated so it was gh.com/gh.com and he fixed it to be only one gh.com. So Safari was going to the double address! I’ve updated the address so now it comes into my computer with no problem!
thank you! thank you! Only that device was set to that address so I didn’t notice it on the other devices.
But I still can’t publish RW.
How do you publish to a local folder? I saw that with discussion of using FTP software, but I’m clueless on how.
File menu
Export Site
Published to local folder, now what. BTW, it looks like my three websites are all mixed up in the support logs.
I’m assuming that you had no errors on the publish local?
If so you can upload your site with an FTP client if you have one. You can also try to get RW to publish.
If you exported your site locally you can now see your folder(page) structure in finder.
You can also upload that folder to your doc_root on your webserver and publish your site (using an ftp app)
Okay, I’m a little hesitant to try and bypass publish anything. First of all, I have three websites. GingerHanson.com, Saderra Publishing.com, and Friends of the Enterprise Public Library.org. From the support logs, it appears YourHead is the problem child and my files are presently co-mingled. When I opened the gh site after I exported it locally, I found items from the Friends website in the gh folder.
The logs have shown Friends info with gh.com info. It’s as if a little gremlin is playing in the computer!
I’ve emailed YourHead to see if they have any suggestions. Right now the websites are online and in correct format. I’m hoping YourHead will have a suggestion as to how to fix this.
I keep YourHead updated so I’m not sure what the problem is unless they got ahead of High Sierra, but I usually get a message that an app won’t work on that device if they aren’t compatible.
