So I paid for a hosting account then the next step seems to be to upload a backup of my current website. Clicked the “upload backup” button but the upload was stuck on 0% for an hour.
Please advise.

What are you trying to upload, a cPanel backup? If so it might be too big to upload directly, there are upload limits when trying to run an upload through the browser..
If you have your RapidWeaver project file, you can re-publish all files to your new hosting account. I’ll send over your SFTP details momentarily.
