Unexpected Entry Duplicatioin in CMS

I was working in the CMS. I changed the name of an entry and published it. It created two entries instead of one. When I have apparently lost control of one entry. It shows up on the website but not in my CMS. Any ideas what to do, guys? See below.

Yes, I added a “1” behind the title of one entry. That was to let me see which one is still connected to the CMS in Element.

Maybe I misunderstand but it is a .md file issue … when you publish your .md files to the server no files that have already been uploaded are deleted from the server. What I do is delete all files in the server folder any time I delete a file in the application before I publish

Delete all .md files on your Server.

After that, republish all files in your project.

Once this is done, only the .md files that are currently in use by you should remain in the folder.

If you change the name of a .md file again in the future, you will need to delete the old file manually.

Thank you guys! You are correct! I did that, and it worked. Thanks again!
