I have built a site, and it looks great on a desktop browser, with videos/images appearing the full width of the screen. However, on Apple and Android mobile devices, there’s a large empty band of space on the right side of the screen. What am I missing?
I’ll enclose a screen shot of how it looks when in the mobile display edit mode within Elements, and how it’s appearing on an Android device.
And here’s how it looks on the mobile screen, with a giant empty space on the side. This empty space runs the entire vertical length of the website, not just this one section.
Ahh, I see now. Thanks. There’s a small horizontal scroll at the bottom of the mobile edit window. When I scroll to the right, I see extra space there. I can’t see it normally unless I use that slider. What is the cause/solution for this?
@northwestagency can you share your project via Elements Cloud and post the link here, we can then take a look at the project and tell you how to fix it.
I think @upssjw is right, you probably have margin or padding set…
Aha. You were right. It was a margin/padding issue. This is the problem with not being a full time web designer. But, at the same time, I was able to build a website without being a full time web designer!
