I have been working on a new project for two weeks and now it’s near ready to publish and launch. It works fine and everything ok on my desktop computer. I have to go away for a few days and wish to continue on my laptop as I am not going to be home and will have some down time. I have gone to laptop, the latest update to elements is there and I have uploaded my file to element cloud for back up as well. When I open elements cloud and download the file and try to open it it stalest “file could not be opened, the data is missing.” I open it from cloud on desktop and its fine.
What is going wrong? Help please as I need to go away tomorrow and need to open my file. TIA @dan@ben@dang
Can you send the elements cloud link over so I can see if I can open it on my end?
Also, could you try just zipping up the project file on your desktop, and moving that zipped file over to your laptop, extract it, and seeing if you can open it on the laptop bypassing the cloud?
Thanks for coming back so quick, Whilst waiting I just put project on desktop and it did the same but I thought as every other project opens except this one to try a treat of putting the ELEMENTS app on desktop and bingo it worked but all other projects are still working too so I am confused as I thought all projects had to be in same folder as App? I am happy so will pu tj=his as resolved. THANKS as always!!!
