I created a website 15 years ago with RW7, and updated with RW8. Now I have RW9.5 and it no longer has the same design when I open the Home file. Is there an easy fix, or do I have to rebuild the site from scratch?
Hi @traut,
I see you have another thread running with @dan from Realmac.
If the design for your site changes, it’s likely that there’s a different theme selected. You can view your site with the various included themes by clicking the Themes button while in preview.
If you originally made your site in a theme that’s currently not installed, RapidWeaver will default to the standard theme (a theme called Alpha if I’m not mistaken).
If you post a link to your old site, perhaps we can figure out which theme you used back then. Perhaps that theme is still available online so you can restore it.
Cheers,
Erwin
Here is the site, last updated with RW8 last fall.

Hi @traut,
That website was built using Foundry, either version 1 or 2, and with the Foundry theme.
If you select the Foundry theme in RapidWeaver, your site should return to the look you’re expecting.
If you no longer have Foundry, it will be a challenge, as the publisher of Foundry has left the industry and their products are no longer available.
Cheers,
Erwin
Thanks for helping explain that.
Now I will have to learn how to use RW 9.5. I have been unable to locate a user manual.
Hi Tom,
The Classic manual can be located here Welcome to RapidWeaver | Classic Manual
