Varying row sizes in Grid

I have inserted a grid intending to link thumbnails to various galleries. Each thumbnail has a caption beneath and I need to make the caption row a lesser height than the thumbnail row (attachment show how it looks now). How can I do this?

You want to put the image and text in a flex component, that will keep them together.
