How do you make the video fill the width of a container do you use a flex or just drop the video element in the container?
There’s many, many ways to do this…
- Set the Content Layout’s Width to “Full” on the outer container…
- Or place the video outside of a container, that way it will naturally just fill the width of the browser…
- Or, depending on what you’r doing, you can also set a video on the background of a container and set the height. This is good if you want to overlay text or other items.
Here’s a quick video showing how to do these three options…
There’s lots of ways to achieve what you want in Elements ![]()
Hope that helps!
Thanks Dan
I was routing around in the wrong place to set the with to full. I was trying in the ‘sizing’ section instead of then content layout.
No problem, glad you got it sorted ![]()
