I’ve been using your audio component to put all of the music that I’ve created on my main portfolio website. And I didn’t even think about the fact that, as my mom just walked in and told me, that there needs to be a volume control on there. Apparently she had it just blast sound at her and wanted to tell me that it would make sense for there to be some kind of audio control to tell you at which volume it’s going to play initially.
Whether that’s actually the way to go about it or not is kind of immaterial. However, why isn’t there any control for volume?
Also, a pretty standard thing for audio players is track time. Both something to show the length of time that the track is going to be playing for, and at what point in the track you are currently listening. Just standard info.
I assume this has been out for a minute, so is there a reason why these things don’t exist right now? And to be sure, I went onto the store to check and see if there was any kind of advanced audio player, in case that was the reason why that wasn’t included with the audio component in RapidWeaver Base. But no, there’s no advanced audio player there.
What are the chances of us getting these options added to the audio player?
Or am I just totally missing something about how to enable these things and I just don’t know it? So far that’s been the case with two of the issues I’ve brought up in the forum, so hopefully that’s what’s going on.
