I’m considering moving to Elements from Classic and using Gallery Pro to create a photo gallery site similar to my site with Classic. I need to know if Gallery Pro can be pointed to a folder on the server to get the images similar to what I did with the Photo Pro stack in Classic. I do NOT want to give a bunch of URLs to individual files or have to upload all images for each update of the site. For updates, I should be able to add new files to the server folder without republishing.
Don’t have the pro… but in regular version - yes you drag the folder into the inspector - it resides in the elements files under resources
but can that be a SERVER folder, or can it only be a folder on your local machine?

Gallery Pro does not have the ability to pull images from a folder on the server, unfortunately. That is something we’d love to add, but it’s not available at the moment.
