Was this supposed to be fixed or is it still a known bug? (recovered elements that randomly appear when reopening)

RapidWeaver Elements 1.4.0 (23889)

This is not consistently recreated, but when I close a project and re-open it sometimes a slew of recovered items are magically created, linked to globals, and you have to go on a search mission throughout the entire project to find where these were created and added. It is tedious to find. I thought this bug had been fixed, but it happened to me again on Elements 1.4.

Examples in these screen shots. All of these elements were simply added when opening my project file.

I’m back to being scared to saving and closing my project file! But I also don’t like to leave my project file open when I’m not working on it for fear of other corruption (computer unexpectedly shuts off or whatever).

A fix is in the works, but in the meantime we have a self-repair menu item you can use to remove those nodes.

Thanks, Dan, didn’t see that. I’m a little confused what an “orphan node” is because it sounds like this is something I’ve done and left awry in my project. Is it the case that this is human error?
