You won’t want to miss this…
It looks great
..and of course, we developers have a lot of questions.
The integration is actually very convenient. Is it possible to live test the components or something similar?
So, I have downloaded and installed 1.5.0, how do I get to the Store? ![]()
Are we able to upload components, suppose need to be able to package the component
Not just yet, we still need to polish a few things before opening the store to third-party developers. We’ll share more details and updates as soon as we can! ![]()
The Essentials pack is incredible. What an awesome tool to have in my kit!
cant wait
Amazon Payments UK seems to be used.
Will it be possible to use a Non-UK Amazon account for payment?
I dont want sell anything, will it be easy to load up free components, cant handle any more tax additions at this time, everything I want to upload was quick to produce, very little code
We use Stripe to handle all payments. You can pay by card or through Amazon Pay. We’re checking whether non-UK Amazon accounts are supported, but since our business is based in the UK, there may be some regional restrictions.
Good catch, we’re on it!
Yes, once we roll out developer access, it will be easy for anyone to share Element addons on the Store ![]()
Awesome
You were the first user to purchase the pack, so thanks for believing in us. Lots more updates to come ![]()
Guys, the Essentials Pack looks awesome, my finger is hovering over the buy button, even though I have already built many of these things myself.
The one glaringly obvious template that is missing for me is some sort of cookie consent template. These days if you are trying to help people build sites faster, that would seem like an essential template.
Wow! This does change everything! Oh the days of the past are gone and over with. Ben, outstanding work. So very happy with elements!
I think a Cookie Component is what we need, rather than a template. I can’t when we (or perhaps a third party) will get to that, but hopefully sooner rather than later as there’s been a lot of discussion about cookie consent recently.
Yes, you are correct, it is a cookie consent component that is needed.
@dan Will you be adding a menu item / link for opening the store without having a project open, or do we always have to have a project open to access the store??
