Web page error

The only thing new I have used is ‘Pick a Card’ by 1LD. Here is the error:

var RWElements={};RWElements.rw96BA159E_1395_4207_97CA_FAD57BD74777={};RWElements.rw96BA159E_1395_4207_97CA_FAD57BD74777=(function(componentId){document.addEventListener(“DOMContentLoaded”,function(){PickACard.init({hoverDistSet:parseInt(parseInt(“20”)/100parseInt(“420”)),rotTopStart:parseInt(“2”)-1,rotTopEnd:parseInt(“2”),rotCurveRangeSet:parseFloat(“-10”),deckSpreadXSet:parseFloat(“1”),deckSpreadYSet:parseFloat(“1”)*-1,deckClip:parseFloat(“0”),deckOverlapFanned:parseFloat(“0”),alwaysFanned:“0”==“0”,tSpeed:parseInt(“250”),compId:“rw96BA159E_1395_4207_97CA_FAD57BD74777”,forceTouch:“0”==“1”,fanAngle:parseInt(“60”)});});return componentId;})(RWElements.rw96BA159E_1395_4207_97CA_FAD57BD74777);

I don’t know if anyone else has encountered this. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Have you tried turning it off an on again?..

Kidding, if you saw my Elements Hosting commercial, the above makes sense. :face_with_tongue:

Anyway, we’d need more details, is this happening on your published site, or only in Elements when you preview? If on your published site, can you link to the page with the error? If only in Elements, you’d probably want to share your project file via Elements Cloud so we could take a look.

Hi Dan,

It happens on the published site.

Really stumped by this. I really needed the component from 1LD so I am hoping it is just a formatting issue.

Thanks,

RJ

Hi @RobertJames

Thanks, can you link me to the page where the error is though? And tell me how to reproduce it if I have to click somewhere to make the error appear?

then click the button. That’s when the error show up. The page is a php form with the ’ Pick a Card’ component on it as well as some other reference images. The pick a card is the color swatches that are used for product customization.

I posted it in the forum.

Then click the order button.
The page it is supposed to go to is a php form page for quotes.

Thanks,

Hi @RobertJames

Thanks for all that.

So if I visit the absolute path, it seems like it’s working:

https://rjjrproductions.com/kenetic-order-form/index.php

Can you confirm there isn’t an index.html file that you uploaded previously for that page? I’m wondering if it was index.html before, and subsequently that file wasn’t removed from the server..

Let me know.

There is only the Index PHP in the folder.

Are you sure? If you log into your web host, can you go to that keneti-order-form folder and tell me all the index files you have listed there? Even if there isn’t an index.html, I’m guessing there will be an index.js file…

Index.css

Index.js

Index.php

Can you create a file named .htaccess in that keneti-order-form folder, and add the following line to it:

DirectoryIndex index.php

Let me know once you’ve done that.

It is done.

Ok, something strange is going on, it’s like your server is loading the index.jsfile instead of the index.php file. Adding an .htaccess file with that DirectoryIndex line should have forced the index.php file to load, but perhaps your web host doesn’t allow index overrides..

I sent you a DM to further investigate.

It is strange because I have another website that I did for a client and it works just fine. I will do some digging to. There is obviously something I have missed. To many projects, not enough of them pay, lol

I’d check your main .htaccess file too. Make sure there are no weird redirects in it, or any custom DirectoryIndex line that would force that index.js file to load first, before the index.php file..

If you can give me FTP access to the website in the DM I sent you, I can check for you.

Creating an .htaccess in that keneti-order-form folder, and adding the following line to it:

DirectoryIndex index.php

fixed the issue.

The web server was loading index.js before index.php. I believe it’s due to some wonky redirect rules in an .htaccess file a folder or two up..
