Website full and unable to publish

I have had my website for sometime now, https://www.oldcoffeeroaster.com/
When I went to publish my site it is now saying disk full. What would your suggestion on freeing up some disk space. I am currently using sausage for my hosting package.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @richjh,

RapidWeaver doesn’t delete old files - it only adds files, and overwrites existing files if the names are identical. The same goes for folders.

It could be that previous attempts or old pages are taking up disk space on the server. To remedy that, you could delete everything off the server, and select Re-publish all files from the file menu.

Do make a backup of the server first though, as you might want to restore something if it turns out the files were still in use.

Not for the faint of heart this, and expanding server disk space is the easy an safe solution (but also the most expensive one).

Cheers,
Erwin

When you say everything off the server how would you go about that?

Hi @richjh,

If you log on to your server using n FTP client, you can delete the files and folders that make up your website.

Some hosts also offer access to these files through their control panel if you’re not comfortable with FTP.

Remember to make a backup first though! FTP clients allow you to copy the files over to your mac - this should suffice.

Cheers,
Erwin
