Just as a curiosity (I’m a hobby developer), what programming language is Elements itself written in?
I see a number of cross-platform web design apps are in Javascript etc. Since this is Mac orientated software, which direction have the Realmac developers gone?
Elements is a native Mac app written in Obj-C and Swift 
I started writing apps in Obj-C, what a rubbish language 
Switched to Swift and never looked back 
I’m not ready to say Obj-C is a rubbish language. It has some great features (well, perhaps one or two) that Swift abandoned. Having said that, I’d not want to go back. A line of Swift is a whole lot easier to write (and read) and the advancements made in the last few years are head spinning.
I am really surprised Elements still has ties to the old technology though, given it is supposedly a new creation. I guess it still uses chunks of code from RW, plus that’s where developers’ experience is.
