When Carousel?

Hi everyone

First of all – I absolutely love what the Realmac team is doing with Elements. It feels fresh, modern and honestly like the future of RapidWeaver. I really want to fully move all my projects over.

But… there’s one little thing standing between me and complete migration happiness:

The Carousel Element :carousel_horse:

It’s one of the most upvoted requests, and for good reason. I still have several sites built in RW Classic that rely on carousels for hero sections, testimonials and product showcases. Without a native Carousel Element in Elements, I simply can’t recreate those layouts properly. And trust me – I’ve tried. I’ve stretched grids, containers, groups… probably in ways they were never intended to go

For me, this isn’t just a “nice to have.” A carousel is an essential part of modern web design. Especially on mobile. It helps avoid endless vertical scrolling and keeps content structured, focused and user-friendly. Instead of stacking five sections on top of each other, you can present them elegantly in one interactive space. That’s huge for UX.

I totally understand that this might be one of those “bigger” elements that needs to wait for version 2.0 so it can be implemented properly. If that’s the case, I get it. Build it right. Make it smooth, responsive, accessible and future-proof.

But please tell me it’s on the roadmap :folded_hands:

Because the day a Carousel Element lands in Elements is the day I finally close the door on Classic for good.

Until then, I’ll be here… patiently refreshing the updates page like it’s Black Friday :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Thanks for all the amazing work – Elements is already fantastic. A Carousel would just make it complete!

Oh no!

I’ve just spent today trying something out-not a carousel thank god, but it’ll be all wasted if tomorrow is “b2” day!

I just want it reordered here so I can finish and put on forum!:rofl::rofl::rofl:
