My site, https://www.oldcoffeeroaster.com a number of times will just freeze during backup. What can I do as far as cleaning up my site to stop this from happening? I have a lot of pictures and .pdf files. I don’t want to start from scratch but I can if necessary. If I do start from scratch thoughts on using Elements.

A not ideal solution would be to disable backups in RapidWeaver’s publishing settings like so:
Make sure you have another backup solution in place for your project file though, like the ones contained in the below guides:
Backups - The definitive guide to backing up your RapidWeaver built website (part 1)
A better solution would be to warehouse your images and PDF files on your web hosting provider’s server (or another external server) and then just link to them from your RapidWeaver project file. This would cut down on your project file size which should make it more manageable.

I found a workaround for my problem. I launched in safe mode and it backs up perfectly. Finding out the reason is well beyond my pay grade.
