I use Rapidweaver from version 3 and have built many site in it. So in recent years I have been using RW Classic and that in combination with Total CMS. How easy can I easily convert a website built with TCMS to an Elements website. Especially the website https://floravannederland.nl is a complex and large website. Because in addition to building the site in RW, parts of this site are also built and integrated by a database on a call basis. The question is whether this can be easily rebuilt. If not then the second question is, "How long will RapidWeaver Classic continue to be supported?
I think you’ll eventually be able to re-create this in Elements with our new CMS, you could possibly do it now, but it would require some custom components/code.
We plan to continue to support Classic for the foreseeable future, so don’t worry on that front.
However, I’d recommend, keeping an eye on the Elements CMS and investigate a little more heavily in a few more months to see how things are shaping up
There is obviously a typo here… “in a few more months to see how things are shaping up”. I’m sure what was meant is: “in a few more days to see how things are shaping up”.
