First, and as always, thanks for all your hard work on Elements. Still loving the platform!
Now…I know that there are third party services. I know a custom component can be built with AI…But, a cookie consent component / template was on the roadmap very early on. I know it was mentioned in another thread how in Classic it was simply a tick box a little work.
Will this ever see the light of day? Is there some issue preventing one from being included? Is it no longer part of the plan?
I’m just a non-coding, self-building guy who would love to have something ready-made that I can use on a couple of my own sites without paying for a service or fighting with code to get just right.
Perhaps this will be useful to you; it’s a simple pop-up that uses cookies to manage the number of times it’s displayed. If you need something more complex, there’s a pro version available.
I would just pay for Claude for a month, connect it and make one, so easy to do and then its made instantly and ready for your site or any future sites.
It’s a free component that has already been updated twice to keep up with new Elements releases, and will continue to be maintained. If you ever run into an issue, you get support from a real person for free.
Build 7: Added Elements Al support
Build 6: Updated BG Colors to Tailwind V4 ( Elements V3 are required )
Build 5: New Option, add a delay (in seconds) before the popup opens
Build 4: New margin controls for flexible positioning
Build 3: Improved corner radius and max width options
Build 2: Preview mode optimized
Build 1: Initial Release
If you’re a hobbyist or just tinkering, by all means, have fun experimenting with Elements and Claude. At the end of the day, it all depends on your business and what you need.
