Working menu

1. Is a container always necessary, because the flex and grid look like they might be similar.

2. In the tutorial Dan drags a menu to top of page, and it immediately shows the names of the 2 pages that he is starting with.

I have tried 2 times to add a menu, and they show no names, only 3 bars, which do nothing if I click on them.

@traut

container flex and grid can be used as you want, depends on your layout requirements

menu

It is amazing - if I post a query with 2 items, only the first one ever gets answered.
This has happened more than 10 times, so I will finally just ask one Q in each post.
So - in his video Dan simply inserts a menu and it instantly lists the 2 pages that he has already created.
I inserted a menu twice, and neither one lists any of my pages.

Widen the editor viewport and you will see them. The mobile menu shows when the screen size exceeds the size set in mobile trigger.

I believe I answered both your questions, with the context provided, use container grid and flex as you need

Up to you if you do not want to use the container, container just adds additional options

If you were asking what’s the difference between container grid and flex that’s a different question and answer

cannot see your Settings for menu, what is your mobile trigger set to, or as suggested before provide a link to your project. Difficult to answer a question without all of the settings, or provide a video of you adding the menus, and showing the settings. Cannot see how you have set it up, looks like one of them is a global

Mobile trigger controls when the mobile menu appears at different screen sizes as in the video I provided, unless you have it in another component where you cannot click on it, again cannot see your settings or project

How many pages do you have?

Did you ask this before

fine, that worked.
Now, will clicking on a page name in the menu change the view to that page on line?
Nothing happens when I click on a page name in the Elements menu.

Yes, when it is published online

Clicks on the menu items will only work in preview or once published, they do not work in the editor.
